Dr. Tchervenkov is the chief of cardiac surgery at Montreal Children's Hospital and Professor of Surgery at McGill University. He trained in general surgery, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at McGill University. He was Chief Resident in pediatric cardiac surgery at the Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School with Aldo Castaneda. He was the founding president of the World Society of Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery and currently serves as Executive Director
